Loving Hut Thon Buri
Complete with a massive picture menu and staff who are very eager to take your order, this Loving Hut branch is worth a visit. Smoothie and drink options seemed limitless and there were 9 desserts listed, including a selection of cakes and ice creams. If you're indecisive, there's also a set menu to help you choose. If you're a fan of mock meats, visit this place. Plenty of faux fish options, too, with some Western options too. Like I said, the menu is extensive.
The Eats
The fried erinji sesame toast was so. super. ecstatically. good. Slices of mushroom inside fried bread with a sesame topping meant a doughy texture on the inside while crispy on the outside.
Served with chili sauce, lime slices, and fresh garlic slivers, the pork with lemon hot and sour sauce really hit the spot. The sauce has a bite with the chili and lesser than expected amount of sugar (a good thing in this instance), and the faux pork was, at a guess, soy based rather than gluten.
The young coconut ice cream was refreshing and not at all heavy like some coconut based desserts can be (it was far more like a sorbet than an ice cream).
