Tucked into a corner unit in one of London's coolest spots, this restaurant in trendy Brixton Village dishes out speedy Beijing street snacks that meet both of my comfort food criteria: noodle soup and deep fried things. The menu is small and simple, and everything on it is self descriptive. On my visit all of the vegetarian options were also vegan, and so we ordered all of them. You're likely to face a wait if you go at lunch or on the weekend, but the turnaround is pretty quick. A filling lunch for two set us back £20. This is a great spot for anyone who works locally and wants a quick and inexpensive lunch that doesn't involve sitting on the curb to eat it, or for anyone on a weekend jaunt to Brixton who's seeking filling vegan snacks in a fun location.
